What: Practices consist of distance and sprint exercises along with lots of games. Field events include long jump, high jump, hurdles, shot put, turbo javelin and discus. Through the season there will be several meets where we are competing against other teams. The big event is your participation in the Junior Olympics in June.
How: Sign-up by clicking here and registering through siplay.com. The Early-Bird registration fee (through March 25) is $65. After March 25, the registration fee is $75. There is a $10 sibling discount. A $15 late fee is applied after the season starts. We are a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization and do not want the cost of APRR Programs to be a barrier to participation. If your child is interested in participating but your current financial circumstance is a concern, please contact the APRR Board. We have a number of scholarships available.
Track & Field begins April 16 and runs through the Junior Olympics Qualifiers in June, where kids can then qualify for the Junior Olympics Regionals or Nationals later in July and August.

All athletes must also be registered with the USATF (United States Track & Field Association). Registrations cost $20 for youth and are good for a calendar year. Your USATF membership can also be used for Cross Country in the fall. Get your child's USATF number first because you will need it for the AP Road Runners registration process. USATF registration is required for all athletes, as our insurance is through USATF and we are a USATF Sanctioned Club.
Please read our Track & Field Handbook for more detailed information.
